Heat-based Lasers are unable to treat the nail bed, nail matrix, and germinal matrix, but OnychoV can effectively target these areas. Heat-based Laser treatments can cause carbonization and potentially lead to partial destruction of the underlying tissues. This can be a significant concern for patients with underlying conditions such as diabetes and peripheral vascular disease.
